So our next destination is Lindos village, which is 50km away. We will pass by and through different villages with unique beauty and after 45 minutes we will stop little before the Lindos village, at a place with a great view of the acropolis and you should not miss the opportunity to take a selfie.
Then, before entering the village of Lindos, we will go to St. Paul’s bay to admire the monastery of St.Paul. It is a famous monastery, which every year hosts lots of weddings with the presence of the sunset in background. Apart from that it is the place where St. Paul himself disembarked, when he came in Rhodes for the dissemination of Christianity. Then our driver will take you at the main square of Lindos, where you can explore the narrow streets of the village for about an hour. You can either stay inside the village and shop or follow the cobbled road who leads up to Acropolis. Now, if you are not in the mood to get tired and reach the top by walking, you are able to hire a donkey (known also as Lindian taxi) from the entrance of the village. After an hour you will find your driver waiting at the same place he left you, for the return. At the way back, he can stop upon your request at a pottery factory, a place with a wide variety of earthen pots, where you can buy some souvenirs. The trip ends with the driver returning you at your starting point or at any other place you choose.
